The Streamy Awards nominations were announced this morning and our YOMYOMF Network was honored with multiple noms. What are the Streamys you ask? It’s the awards show that honors excellence in original online video content—the closest the online world has to its own Oscars…or Golden Globes…or at least the People’s Choice Awards.
We want to thank all the voters (both industry professionals and web fans) responsible for our nods and send our congratulations to everyone in the YOMYOMF family who were recognized:
Our webseries Dr0ne was nominated for Best Action or Sci-Fi Webseries, Best Cinematography (Sean Stiegemeier) and Best Visual Effects (Oliver Hotz, Matthew A. Rubin). Check out all the episodes here and the pilot right here:
The Book Club also received multiple noms for Best Guest Appearance (Blake Griffin) and Best Visual Effects (Timothy Kendall). Click here for all the episodes and check out the two-part Blake Griffin episodes below:
Also, a special shout-out to two of our YOMYOMF Network partners who received nominations: Ryan Higa for Best First-Person Series and Chester See for Best Online Musician.
The awards will be handed out on February 17, 2013 from The Hollywood Palladium. For more info, click here.
