We all love our smart phones, our laptops, our gear… our TECH! We need it, we love it and we lust over it.
I was born with wires in my soul. I always got the latest and the greatest to fill the need of being first and ahead in tech. WHY? It made my life easier… right?
I’m sitting with my friend in my favorite ramen house called “Quickly” in Alhambra (plugging away) and we’re ready to devour some ono-licious food. I then get an email to make an emergency edit on a video and it had to be done now. I’m about to eat and my friend is here and my home is 5 miles away… what to do?
I bust out my iPhone and iPad!
I configured both of these devices to control my computer from home where all my files are. So now my iPhone and iPad occupy the space of my dumplings and noodles… the restaurant is now my office with the aroma of Chinese food.
Like “Minority Report” I was swiping and typing. Getting things done. Making things happen for my client. In about 20 minutes I was done and still maintaining a mouthful of noodles and having a decent conversation with my friend.
Is this the way we live our lives now? Do we always have to look at our phones if it buzzes? Is the best technology really doing us a favor?
Good or not good?
My take: I LOVE IT!

It’s good if you are getting paid.
BUT……sometimes ya just gotta TURN OFF.
You also have to put things into perspective….the “latest/greatest” is only cool until the next big thing rolls around (a few months later). It is an ENDLESS treadmill. Sometimes you just gotta say NO!!!
YMMV.
Good Luck!! 8-D
Overall – not good
Vibrating Feature – excellent
