Unfortunately Named Businesses

My fellow Offender Anderson stumbled upon the following unfortunately named business and sent me a snapshot:

This reminded me that I had previously blogged about unfortunately named Asian places and products, but I also realized that our friends in the East weren’t the only ones who often had a poor grasp of the English language when choosing the appropriate wording for their signs. Nope, when it comes to the use of Engrish, even our native speakers have proven themselves guilty as the following examples clearly demonstrate:

Funny Asian Signs

The Japanese aren’t the only ones whose English-language signs lose something in the translation. Here are signs from all around Asia which obviously weren’t double-checked. Enjoy and happy weekend to all our Offenders near and far!

Funny Signs: Japanese Edition

I previously posted some pics of funny street signs. Here are some more; this time from our Japanese friends. I’ll let them speak for themselves because, quite frankly, I have no idea what half of them mean. But that doesn’t stop them from being completely and totally awesome! Happy Friday!
