In the post Alexandra Wallace age, Asian students at UCLA can’t get a break, apparently. According to Jezebel, a couple of signs were posted on a Vietnamese Student Union Sign and a women’s restroom this past week. They were handwritten with the messages, ”asian women R Honkie white*-boy worshipping Whores” and ”Asian Women are White-Boy Worshipping Sluts.”
Naturally, this sparked ire amongst the student body and a protest was organized. About a 100 people gathered where the first sign was found. Now, whoever wrote those signs is very lame and an idiot. But, what kind of concerns me more are the protesters themselves. I kind of don’t get those signs in the photo above… The tall guy with the stern, cold face with the sign that says, “Asian Women are a story of Bravery of Love” has me questioning whether this dude is the biggest THE JOY LUCK CLUB fanatic?
And those Asian girls behind him, what’s with spelling of “Woman” with “Womyn.” There should be a protest on basic grammar and spelling! But, I digress… I hope the anti-Asian woman sign culprit is found, just to see who this dweeb is. And you know what? My money is that it’s some Asian guy. Yeah, seriously.

LOL. What a crock of SHIT!! I shouldn’t dismiss him completely, but that sounds like something a guy with an Asian fetish would say i.e. “Let me be your white knight in shining armor.” Would he make a sign like that for any other female ethnic group? The next time I see someone talk trash about a black female I want to see his ass at that rally too. Speaking of which, he reminds me of Chris Rock’s stand up bit.

Who ever posted this has some serious problems. They are definitely insecure about themselves be it guy or girl. I just hope that they take some personal responsibility in the matter and improve their Game instead of blaming an entire ethnic group for their dating and mating woes.

MaSir has it spot on: I find it “interesting” Anderson here would post a photo of a white guy at the rally when there are tons of AM from other videos and photos.

My guess is that Anderson posted that photo because it’s the only one that you can see on the Jezebel site. It’s not a requirement for him to scan through all Asian-Am blogs posting about the incident before writing about it.

@kim: That actually makes more sense. I don’t think Anderson has a preference for any type other than attractive type. If Anderson does have a thing for white or whatever, well good for her or him. Just don’t BASH ALL ASIAN MALES or any other race in the process for that matter. That’s my only ask.

And this quote bothers me a lot after re-reading it. If indeed Anderson happens to be right, it would be painful for me to accept. For an Asian guy to go through that much psychological pain and anguish to the point of announcing hatred in a public setting like that is inexcusable and it’s also very disheartening. Somebody lend the poor guy a helping hand, but better yet…please don’t be an Asian guy!

Like MaSir said: what’s the demographic? I’d think black women would be the first to identify and sympathize with what Asian men goes through.
@MaSir Actually there are some white women who get jealous and diss some Asian woman because they are dating or married to some white men exclusively. This could also be a white woman trashing a Viet student club to show her distates of Asian/Viet female students dating white guys on campus.
Double the whammy – Just what we need on this site, a picture of a white guy posting his white knight defense and courting of all Asian women. Enough already. He aint going to attract my beautiful Asian wife or my other pretty Facebook honeys.
Probably some Asian guy, most like a Vietnamese, that is jealous because the Asian women are dating white guys and they are not getting a piece of the action. It would not be out of character with these Asians, but not all Asians as I don’t want to stereotype, in regard to jealousy.
And since it was posted on a Vietnamese bulletin board, I am 95% sure that it is a Vietnamese male who posted that message.

Well…I find this very disappointing in terms of social ramifications. It is such a shame that somebody was really pushed that far to the point of posting something like this.
That said, hopefully this type of statement won’t reflect on Asian guys as a whole seeing as that is probably one of the first few culprits people who just read the article think about. Cue the people who try to “protect” these women against the “oppression” of asian men.
Although to be honest if somebody used this as justification for why Asian guys are bad/to discriminate against them then they aren’t worth my time and are essentially proving that they are no better than this person who has a vendetta against Asian women.

@masir, being a nice asian girl who can be considered good looking I actually have had a lot of white girls get jealous of me and its actually sad but I’m used to it. Girls of all races even asian girls themselves as a matter of fact can show jealousy or are mean towards me but I find most girls who show blatant jealousy towards me are white girls that are my age or older white women. It usually happens in front of another guy who might be interested in me. Especially if it is a random white guy, the girls usually talk or try to bring up my ethnicity. They will say things like Chinese food is so disgusting can you imagine eating it everyday out of nowhere all the while saying it in front of me and the guy. Or they will treat me like I’m some crazy foreigner when I was born and raised in Oklahoma. Usually white girls will now in front of me with the hands in a praying position and close their eyes, or they will fake an offensive asian accent around me. I don’t know I’ve gotten use it it and now can only see it as a compliment of jealousy. I would never do this to someone if it were the other way around though. I guess people are just people and human, and some people are very uneducated or have no integrity.
Just thought I’d share my personal experience with you since you say you’ve never met a white girl who is jealous of an Asian. Might not be common who knows but it exists at least with me and my experience. Trust me white girls can be very mean and jealous. Maybe they are just used to be privileged so they don’t show it as often as can be somehow.
I’m glad they posted those notes. Now the world will see Asian men for the racist, sexist aholes that they really are. Some Asian women date white men because they live in a country in which white people are the majority. If they lived in Kenya, some of them would date black men. Duh! It has nothing to do with wanting to assimilate, or money. Asian men complain about being dateless but are too racist to even date out of their nationality, much less race.
They’re nothing but a bunch of hypocritical, closet racists.
