Luck. I believe “luck” is really a factor of how much positive energy you have in your life. How much positive energy you have brewing within your heart. How much positive energy you have directed towards you by your friends, peers, and even strangers. And how much positive energy you project out into the world. The more positive energy and good will we can cultivate, the more “luck” one can create. At least that’s what i think. : )
May this video put a smile on your face and add to your “lucky”.

Thanks for your positive energy! Ever thought of trying out for Globe Trekker?
I don’t know about that Australian meat pie, tho. Looks positively disgusting.
I love Globe Trekker.
But Globe Trekker doesn’t love me. ; (
There was a recent study in which researchers did things like leave a $10 bill on the ground or have an actor pose as a millionaire with a business opportunity at a restaurant. Then they sent subjects into that environment and found people who self-identified as lucky had a much higher rate (than those who self-id’ed as unlucky) of both starting a conversation with the millionaire AND finding the money on the ground.
It’s all outlook.
Also, – pandas, koalas, penguins. The unbearable cuteness trifecta.
I found a $20 bill on the ground once. But I felt bad because that meant someone had lost $20. So I gave it to a homeless man and that made me feel like cosmic karma was restored.
your benevolence is sexy rad
Roger, you would be awesome on Globe Trekker. My vote is with you.
Re luck and positive thinking…I will say it’s really difficult when you feel you’ve been down on your luck for a while. But it does help to work on it. For my part, I gave up complaining for Lent this year, even though I don’t usually give anything up. It’s been good. It’s forced me to really appreciate the good things in my life.
And I found $20 in a parking lot just a couple of weeks ago….
See? It works! Haha. I did not mean to imply that I am a positive thinker… I’m a natural pessimist and have to work hard at it. I used to think positive thinking was complete hogwash. I’m slowly beginning to see its benefits.
the Oriental guy has a funny accent.
sank you
Nice vid.
Not sure about the bat poop though. (ewwwww)
One year on Thanksgiving Eve I was feeling a bit extra generous (and it had been a rare good year financially) so I gave a homeless guy I regularly saw camped on a divider in the middle of a street I often drove by a $20. He didn’t even bat an eye or even look at me while his hand was taking the money…no acknowledgement, thanks, or anything. I wasn’t expecting an “award” for my donation, but a simple “thank you” would have been nice. I suppose he had been out there for so long and been mis-treated and beaten down that he had lost most of his gratitude and “human-ness”. Sad.
I believe we make our own luck to some degree, but some of us are a bit luckier than others.
Best wishes to all…
Hahahhaha……just linked to and saw your vid on “The Quest for Length”.
Your g/f is very pretty.
One thing I’ve learned or read about along the way….DON’T stick things in your head/brain (either one of them) or vice versa that were not meant for it. LOL. It amazes me the things some people will do to their bodies….
Yeah, I agree…..some Americans have too much $$$$$. We can’t all be John Holmes.
