Guilty as charged. I, too, am an Asian who takes photos of his own food. Just check my Facebook. Or my Instagram. Or my Line Camera. Hey, restaurants are welcoming cell phone usage, especially since social media has become a boon of marketing and advertising for restaurants and the foodie movement nowadays.
But, back to Asians and taking photos of their food. Yeah, it’s annoying but it can’t be helped. We think food is cute. I remember some smart ass on my Facebook newsfeed was so irritated by this phenomenon that he did his own photo gallery of empty plates and bowls, taking photos of his meals but the aftermath rather than showcasing the actual food itself. Mr. Jackass totally misses the point!
