Be honest, what did you think when you read the headline? Well, rest assured, the dude is not Asian.

Peter Backus, a PhD candidate at the University of Warwick applied the Drake Equation (used to predict the possibility of alien life in the universe) to explain why he can’t find a girlfriend. He concluded that on a given night out on the town there is a 0.0000034 percent chance of him meeting a woman that meets his criteria list and who finds him attractive. That makes the odds of him finding a girlfriend only about 100 times better than finding E.T.

I’m no math genius, but I do know that he’s being way too generous. If that’s the way he actually thinks, he has a better chance of falling in love with an eight foot tall blue beauty on Pandora. No, wait, now I’m the one that’s too generous. Any time I hear the word ‘list’ used with ‘mate’ I smell fiasco.
By the way, why waste all that time calibrating the Drake equation to tell yourself something you already knew? Peter could’ve used that time constructively like the Asian dude who built his perfect mate.

I would like to thank Peter Backus for not being Asian.

Guess he’s gotta do something when he’s not masturbating.
He sounds annoyingly picky! Which is a shame because he IS attractive!
