Well, I had the privilege to give someone that opportunity. I lost my wallet this Saturday in a mall… I noticed it gone twenty minutes ago and rushed back to the mall… what da ya know… GONE! Gone baby gone!
I canceled all my cards, but I have to deal with the DMV, insurance, medical and all that crap. Crap, crap, crap!
12 hours later… my wife receives a Facebook mail… “Did your husband lose something?” I guess the person looked into the wallet and tried to find me on Facebook… but I have my privacy on. But my wife is not totally private. We responded back by saying “Yes… we lost a wallet.”
1 hour later… my buzzer rings at the door. I say “Who is it?” The response was, “Did you lose something?” I rushed out immediate. A girl and her mother was outside holding my wallet. I gave my deepest thanks and a reward. I really couldn’t believe it.
I’ve lost my wallet before in a public bathroom and a week later it was returned to me. Amazing!
I also heard about a man in Bagdad who lost his laptop and a week later he got a memory stick with his files on it. Better than losing all that you works you’ve done. Still amazing.
How about this as a test. I’m going to get five wallets, put 20 bucks in each and place my return info in it… lose it in 5 different public places and see which comes back to me. I believe all will come back.
