I previously posted some pics of funny street signs. Here are some more; this time from our Japanese friends. I’ll let them speak for themselves because, quite frankly, I have no idea what half of them mean. But that doesn’t stop them from being completely and totally awesome! Happy Friday!

I’m not sure what to make of that second one…I think I saw it as a plot of “Law a& Order: SVU” once.
Thanks!
Hilarious. I liked the cowboy/cigarette butt/old movie one for telling a story…LOL. We need more PSAs like that here.
After 3 years of compulsory English in Jr. High & 3 more years in High School, the only sentence my cousins in Japan were able to say was “This is a pen,” which is the first useless sentence they teach you.
I agree with Bond, though. We need more PSA writers/illustrators with a sense of humor. I’m also still trying to figure out that 2nd one.
The second sign is from a train. It’s asking riders to give up their seats for:
1. person with injured arm
2. person holding a baby
3. pregnant woman
4. person with injured leg
Yup, not what it looks like at all.
how they can see an erect penis metaphor in some of these is beyond me. anatomically, the projected penis would be 1 1/2 feet long by normal human standards. that would be excellent…
This was my favorite sign in Tokyo. http://www.flickr.com/photos/rose-kimknits/3679747115/in/set-72157620743691195/
ha ha! my favorite is “The only things that should be stuck in the snow are ski gear and your own face.” FACE!!
hmm there’s no japanese in the purple sign. Since it’s written in traditonal chinese so I assume it’s from taiwan. I am just nitpicking. These engrish signs from asia are some of the most hilarious things ever.
