1:45 am:

Can’t sleep, went for an easy 7 maybe longer didn’t have any gps gear.  The humidity is keeping me up at night.  I decided to put on my shoes and just go til I had to come back. Running has become my place of rest now.  My mind is  quiet when I run.  Thoughts calm to a thick and slow tempo. I got lost around mile 6- maybe. A couple of stray dogs chased me for half a block.  I’m faster than any homeless dog.  Fear also ads an urgency to ones step.

After I left the barking Kujos, I ran through Old San Juan.  The above picture is one of the roads that were made with bricks from Spanish boats brought over in hulls of ships to weigh down their voyage over.  Once they arrived they replaced the weight of the bricks with loot from their conquest.

I’ve been out of town close to a month and I must admit… I miss my wife, I miss my friends,  my bed, the food I eat everyday.  Fortunately I have  Justin’s family to hang out with to  help fill my mojo when I’m low. Leaving home use to be such the great adventure.  I could barely sleep the night before.  Maybe, I was running from something, maybe I needed roam and figure things out.   At first I gave ‘getting older’ credit for change, I concluded age has little to with it.  Credit goes to all the wonderful people in my life back home. It’s only natural to want to be around people who care for you.   Still, a lot of the Tokyo Drift crew are on this one so it’s nice being around old movie family as well.  the shoot is going great. Justin is hitting it out of the park, feeling good vibes on this one.

Ok party people big hug and adios!

for the car folks, I walked by this car the other day.
