When you have been a minority all of your life, then diversity does not bother you. When you hear Sarah Palin make negative comments about Michelle Obama, you then understand her lack of understanding of diversity. Palin’s family was never subjugated, exploited or targeted for elimination. This report just underscores her ignorance of people of color. What will she do in 2012? Read some of the reactionary comments on this page. You begin to see the ignorance of a large sector her supporters. Sad but true.

When I was in Alaska in ’08, several locals told me that Alaskans love Hawaii because of they’re similar kick-back lifestyles. Maybe it doesn’t apply to their rich and sheltered Wasilla residents.
